This little girl has negotiated the handicap of the over-sized gloves and the perils of scissors and she is overjoyed to have successfully detached this bunch of grapes from the vine. It is hard not to be filled with hope for the future when you see the light, optimism and innocence in the face of of this little girl who was helping her mum with the grape harvest.

I like to look for certain qualities that can be found in most human faces - compassion, purity, hope and that kind of intelligence that can only be born through suffering. With children you don't have to look so hard because it's still all there on the surface before life starts to impose its artificial mask.
